To create and maintain a successful car review and news website, SEO and online marketing are non-negotiable methods. After all, they will generate traffic to your site. Without these two tools, your website will be stagnant. However, there are other tools that are super effective as well and we want to put those tools in your hands.

The content you write should further your sales goals. Your articles should be informative - but they should always be gently nudging your readers toward buying decisions. At the end of the day, it's sales that will keep your site on the web. So make sure your content is furthering that goal.

Balance whatever expectations you have with the prevailing market status. This is particularly applicable to setting financial and strategic targets. Failure to do so could result in impossible expectations which are never met.

If you are collecting any information from your visitors, create a privacy policy page. Some people are very careful about who they give addresses and phone number to, so put their mind at ease by explaining what the information will be used for.

Pages that usually seem to cause your visitors to exit your site, commonly referred to as leaky pages, my require a bit of sprucing up. Adjust the design and/or copy on those pages so that visitors will continue to navigate through your car review and news website and hopefully lead to the point of sale.

The best car review and news websites have a high degree of interactivity, so that readers feel engaged with the site. Include message boards, allow visitors to vote in a poll and let your readers make comments. The more engaged people feel with your site, and the more they feel like they're part of the site's "community," the more willing they are to return again and again.

As far as possible, offer all information to the public without the need to register. Visitors do not like registering just to view some information. You can ask a visitor to register only when you offer some premium content or for buying a product.

It should be obvious to visitors where the links will take them. It is not helpful to simply tell them where to click; the link should state explicitly where they will end up. Use keywords so search engines will better not the text of the links.

Make sure that if your car review and news website has a year stamp on it, you update it regularly. Auto News Websites that displays an old year seems inactive. You website should always look current, taken care of and ready for business. If your site does not look ready to go at all times, you take the risk of losing site traffic.
